Ascent Aero’s One Price Guarantee

Our One Price guarantee strives to make Part 141 flight training costs and billing transparent to our students enrolled in our partnered college programs. Our students can anticipate and clearly see the cost of their training. The following areas in this section identify the individual courses from private to certified flight instrument instructor and their cost. Ascent Aero provides additional training programs not listed below, but the ones found here are the most common. Contact Us for a full list of training programs. Part 61 direct students may be subject to different pricing and/or benefits. Cost of academic tuition and other associated college costs are not listed below.

We are proud to have only one regular billing charge outside of flight and ground training. Ascent Aero’s only additional charge to our students occurs during their first enrollment in a Part 141 program. This additional charge is our electronic recordkeeping fee and is a one-time additional cost of $200.00. Because of this, we can guarantee our students access to their electronic flight training records indefinitely. This means that students who need records for FAA audits, lose their logbooks or experience hardship, or require job references with exact records, will have unlimited and easy access to their training records. Forever.

Payment methods we commonly see

Pay-as-you-train

Many of our students have jobs and lives outside of aviation, and that’s OK. In some cases, it may ultimately lead to more time and money spent if you train irregularly, but many people train once a week, or even less. In these cases, we simply bill after each complete training session.

Money on account

We understand that large sums of money is a large commitment. At Ascent Aero we offer a 5% bonus to individuals who place money on account that totals $5,000.00 or more. Over a given course of training, that can lead up to two to three, or sometimes more flight hours on us. Some conditions apply.

Student and specialized loans

Training is expensive, but the payoff is often worth it. While we would never encourage someone to go beyond their means, student and specialized loans help kickstart a majority of students careers. Check out Meritize, they’re a student loan provider we partner with to help provide better rates and services to our students.

Federal Aid

Typically reserved for students enrolled in one of our partnered college programs, we strive to help our students examine all of their options to fly. Many individuals are unaware of the vast amounts of federal aid and low interest loans available to students seeking to train with us through one of our college programs.

Post-9/11 G.I. Bill®

We have significant experience working with individuals who are eligible to use their Post-9/11 G.I. bill or the Yellow Ribbon Program to complete their flight training. We are proud of our long history of helping transition current and former military personnel into a new career in aviation.

Scholarships & Grants

Now-a-days, scholarships and grants aren't just awarded to high school and college students. Many aviation scholarships have unique criteria. Some scholarships are awarded based on need. For others, you might need to become a member of an organization, be studying a certain field, or complete the guidelines the group awarding the money decides upon.

Keep in mind, the methods listed above are just the common ones we see. We’ve worked with many different types of funding and always keep our customers needs first. We promise to always be transparent and clear on invoices and ensure you know exactly what you’re paying for.
